No, outside food is not allowed without prior approval. Our kitchen is open Thursday through Sunday, offering charcuterie, cheese plates, light fare, and more. The tasting room pantry offers a variety of prepackaged cheeses, charcuterie, and other delights from local vendors around the southeast.
Yes, well-behaved, leashed dogs are allowed on the patio and outside areas only.
No, reservations are not required for small parties. For groups larger than 10, reservations are recommended.
No, Kerith House is a smoke free, vape free property.
We are delighted that you have chosen Kerith House as the setting for your photography or video. Our estate is a place to gather, explore, and enjoy, and we welcome guests to capture the beauty of their experience. Casual cell phone snapshots for personal use are welcome throughout the property.
Professional Photography
Professional Photography refers to any planned, posed, staged, or commercial photography session conducted by a photographer or videographer for purposes beyond casual personal photography. This includes engagement, wedding, prom, homecoming, family, portrait, branding, editorial, fashion, real estate, product, commercial, or promotional photography, whether paid or unpaid.
Professional photography may involve professional cameras, lighting, tripods, styling, props, multiple people, wardrobe changes, or equipment beyond a typical personal camera or mobile phone.
Professional photography sessions require prior approval and reservations in accordance with Kerith House’s Photography Policy.
Photography Sessions
Approved professional photography sessions require a photography permit. The permit fee is $75 and must be purchased no later than 24 hours in advance of any professional photography session. To request a permit, please send an email to atyourservice@kerithhouse.com, with the date and time requested and the purpose of the intended photography session.
Estate Guidelines
To preserve the character of the property and ensure an enjoyable experience for all of our guests, we kindly ask that photography and video sessions follow these guidelines:
- Please keep walkways, entrances, paths, stairs, and gathering areas clear and accessible to other guests.
- Please be mindful of the overall guest experience and avoid activities that may interrupt or distract from the enjoyment of the estate.
- Tripods, monopods, selfie sticks, gimbals, and lenses larger than 135mm require prior approval.
- Aerial photography and drones require prior approval.
- Furniture, décor, landscaping elements, or other property may not be moved or rearranged.
- Vehicles must remain on designated roads and parking areas. Off-road driving is not permitted.
- Photography and video must be conducted in a manner that respects the property, our team, and fellow guests.
Kerith House reserves the right to provide direction regarding locations, equipment, timing, or activities in order to protect the estate and maintain the experience we strive to create for every guest.
