Aunt Fair's Deviled Eggs
I have always disliked hard egg yolks so it followed that I did not like deviled eggs; that was until I married into a southern family. The hub's aunt made me a convert. Here is her recipe.
Hard boil and slice in half:
Remove the yolks and mash them together with:
3 T real mayonnaise
1/8 t onion salt
1 T sweet pickle juice
Beat the mixture until very smooth. Put it into a piping bag or ziplock with the corner cut off. Pipe into the empty egg halves and sprinkle with paprika, if desired. Makes 12 pieces.
