Our daughter, Annalise, had the opportunity to compete in a writing competition run by the non-profit, Leap for Literacy, which was founded by Stan "The Man" Tucker. She won! This meant that her book would be professionally illustrated and published. Artist Lauren Lacy did a beautiful job bringing this book to life, which chronicles Annalise's adoption from a special needs orphanage when she was eight years-old.
